Sydney to Hobart : 26 December 2005

As is traditional in Sydney on Boxing Day, the residents and tourists alike, find the best viewing spot along the harbour foreshore and watch the spectacle that is the "Sydney to Hobart" Yacht Race ... Boxing Day 2005 produced the most magnificent weather for a perfect start to this year's race ... we booked ourselves a spot on the top of Dobroyd Head which looks straight out the Harbour entrance and thus we were entertained with the sights and sounds of boats, yachts and helicopters ... enjoy watching the Super Maxi Yachts fighting the line honours to be the first out the harbour ...

The line up ... waiting for the gun ...

South Head ... waiting to see who would be first out the heads ...

Wild Oats was first out ... with Alpha Romeo close behind and Skandia coming a slim third ...

Home Group - Christmas Dinner 2005

Tonight we celebrated our last Home Group for 2005 with a fantastic feast and celebration ... we had a flaming Christmas pudding to end with thanks to John's efforts ... here are some of the crew ... we were thinking of our dear friends Raphael, Ben & Emma and Mimi who were unable to join us in person!

Thanks for a great year of fellowship, singing, dinners, laughs, teaching and growing ... it's been a challenging year but I believe that God has grown us all through our sharing and definitely in our answers to prayer - Amen!

God Bless you All !!

Ginger Bread House Making

On Friday, 2 December 2005, a bunch of girls got together and we had a Ginger Bread House Making evening ... it was such fun and I want to encourage other girls to come along next year by showing you what we did ... from all angles, don't look at the architecture too closely ... the pins still hold the walls together but heh, it's still standing !! Enjoy!
