On Friday night, we had a final farewell party for our dear friend Katie ... here are some of the memories of the night we farewelled a friend, a sister in Christ and a beautiful woman of God who will be sadly missed and thought of ... and prayed for ... until we meet again ...

Watoto comes to St Matts

The Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda came to St Matts to sing for us ... WOW ... what a night ... these kids are amazing. They are all orphans as a result of AIDS and they used to live hopeless and helpless lives of desperation and poverty ... but God has worked an amazing miracle in each of their lives through the work of the Skinners - missionaries who have built Watoto from God's calling. Watoto is a village where houses are built to house 8 children and a surrogate mother ... the choir is on a world tour to raise funds to build more houses for the children of Uganda who need to be cared for and loved when they are left alone in the world ... it is an amazing and inspirational story ... more can be read on their website : www.watoto.com

Here are some photos I took from the concert ... beautiful children of God who shine the love of Jesus in all it's glory ... from hopelessness to hopefulness, they live for God with unwavering faith in his Love and Goodness ... a challenge to us all!
