Twilight Picnic at Fairlight Beach

On Saturday night, we had a twilight picnic on Fairlight Beach to celebrate Fiona's birthday ... it was a beautiful evening ... the sky even turned pink for us ... there were some yachts about, the Manly Ferry was doing it's half hourly run and a passenger liner left our beautiful shores for exotic destinations ....

Fairlight Beach looking out the Sydney Harbour entrance - North Head on the left, South Head on the right ...

Great mates always have the best fun ... Rach, Andy, Katie, Choe-Choe and Fiona ... ahhhh ... this is the life ...

Rach ... a real GEM ... life would not be the same without this Angel of all Hearts in it!

Andy ... a superb South African mate ... and a great Advertising medium!

Choe-Choe ... a Princess from Ghana!

Dom ... Husband to the Princess from Ghana ... and a "Jesus Surfer" too!

Katie ... a beautiful Song Bird ... professional Opera Singer!

Fiona ... the Birthday Girl ... and a witty, intelligent imparter of knowledge to little minds ...

Girls just wanna have fun ...

The good ol' Manly Ferry ... my little row boat to work every day ...

Waves on the seaweed clad shore ... ahhh ...

In case you didn't get it yet ... I love my mates! After the picnic, we headed back to Katie's place where some more mates (Brad, Rod, Jared & John) joined us for a few board games ... Boggle and Pictionary ... it was a hoot ... and the girls thrashed the boys in Pictionary ... but we're all still good mates at the end ...

L-R: Brad, Katie, Fiona, Jared (Standing), John (My Home Group Co-Leader!) and Rod ...
