Kenya : Day 2 : Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After a very bumpy and pretty hectic ride from Lake Nakuru, we arrived in Lake Naivasha! The roads were so degraded and the pot holes were so wide that often we would be facing on coming traffic because that would be the only safe section of the road for vehicles travelling in both directions to travel !!







We stopped in the small town of Lake Naivasha before we headed to our campsite and I captured some of the local stalls selling their wares ...



In the afternoon of our first night in Lake Naivasha, we experienced an amazing thunder and lightening storm which flooded our tents out so we spent the night in the basic accommodation that was available at the campsite ... this was a welcome retreat from a wet tent!
